Get to Know Fear!

What do you 'think' you are specifically afraid of? Is it failure? Is it success? Is it selling? Is it public speaking? Have you ever wondered where fear goes when it is not there? Or where it comes from in the first place?

I do know personally that fear debilitates. It can cease you dead in your tracks, like a train jogging out of steam. Life becomes disagreeable so in case you are need to accomplish success in your business you need to understand what fear actually is so that it doesn't become a roadblock on your entrepreneurial journey towards success.

When you look closely, you'll find that every fear you experience (outside of a clear & present danger) is actually a reaction to a thought. Thoughts you have decided to focus on about how scary making that pitch will be or the thought of fumbling your words & being rejected when selling your products & services. Because your brain cannot tell the difference between what is actually happening & that which you imagine, you experience thoughts as if they are actually happening to you right here, right now.

So What is Fear...Really?

Steve Chandler makes use of the analogy of a young kid drawing a picture of a monster on a piece of paper & then jogging out of the room in terror. They generate a scary thought in our mind, & because they do not recognize ourselves as its creator, they are run ragged by that thought, doing all sorts of things to keep away from an imaginary consequence that they ourselves have constructed. The exact moment the kid sees that the monster is a drawing & cannot hurt it, the fear is gone. & the moment the kid sees him or herself as the creator of the drawing, the exact same thing that was so scary becomes fascinating.

The same goes for you . As soon as you see that your own deepest, darkest fears are a thought, you generate a space in your mind for your innate bravery & curiosity shine. The moment you realise & recognize you are the creator of your own experiences, your perception of this world flips on its head. than focus on your fears start to practice thinking about & visualising the ideal outcome you need in lieu. For example imagine as in case you were looking through your own eyes that ideal sale or pitch. See & listen to in as much detail how simple it will be & notice the feelings that are helping you to make that sale. Perhaps is passion, clarity or something else.

So what have your elderly perceptions about what fear stopped you from doing in your business up until now? How are you able to take your new learning's & discoveries about fear & put them in to action today to surpass your own expectations?
