Youngest Entrepreneur - Who Holds the Distinction?

Mark Zuckerberg was barely twenty when Facebook was launched, forward years; he was worth a chilled $700 million. Today he is estimated to be worth north of $13 billion. BizChair.com was founded by then 14 year elderly Sean Belnick with only $500. Now at 23, Belnick is estimated to be worth $42 million. What do you do with $4 million that you earned from your website when you are 17? Ashley Qualls bought a house worth $250,000 in money! The number of young entrepreneurs is rising each day and their age keeps getting lower and lower. With tens of thousands of them today, who holds the distinction of being the youngest entrepreneur?

Plenty of of the young businessmen and ladies operating an online business today are below 25 years of age and the number of teenagers earning some money online is staggering. As shown above, teenagers as young as 14 years elderly have already established a business for themselves and may have the chance to earn millions of dollars before they turn twenty.

This rise in the success rate for young men and ladies doing business has spurred plenty of others their age to start building their own commercial ventures. In fact, studies have shown that very a third of the high school students today are signing up for entrepreneurial business courses and economic courses as well. Furthermore, around two out of two students of the high school population in the whole country also agrees that it is essential to their future that entrepreneurship will be taught in school. Most of them have disclosed their interest in beginning their business and they plan to do it even before they get to college.

Globally, the numbers are as impressive. In Kuwait, a 14 year elderly boy taught himself programming when he was more youthful and now, he is the developer of a hugely popular game for the iPhone which has been downloaded over three hundred thousand times, yes, that is zeroes a comma, then zeroes more. He is Abdulrahman AlZanki and he holds the distinction as the Arab's youngest entrepreneur and for the Muslim community as well.

In Canada, 19 year elderly Brian Wong holds the distinction of being the youngest entrepreneur to be handed a check for venture funding. Finishing college at 18, Wong has already massive experience in working with startup companies tucked under his belt.

In Asia, member of its young set of entrepreneurs holds the distinction of being the youngest entrepreneur to accomplish a high rating in the list of web billionaires. He Is Asia's youngest billionaire with a net worth of $2.2 billion dollars thanks to his website SNS GREE.

For the truly youngest entrepreneur today, that is yet to be determined, But don't act surprised if day you'll listen to someone aged 12 or below making his first million dollars.
