The True Meaning of Entrepreneur

In case you look at the definition above, it would appear like most somebody can become an entrepreneur, & sadly, that is not going to happen. Somebody can TRY to become an entrepreneur, but only a handful will become.

To most people, the meaning of entrepreneur would likely pertain to its description, & here it is; "one who organizes, manages, & assumes the risks of a business or enterprise" - brought to us by the nice people from Merriam Webster. But for the true meaning of entrepreneur, it goes a tiny deeper than that.

The term "entrepreneur" is basically thrown around nowadays & most everyone doesn't give it the distinction it deserves. To be bestowed with the honor of being dubbed an entrepreneur, you need to earn it first.

You don't must be a billionaire, or a millionaire to be called an entrepreneur, you can be even in case you have a small enterprise. But because you have made your entrepreneurial endeavor grow & succeed, despite entering an unproven market. Some multi-millionaires today don't even deserve to be called entrepreneurs, they entered in to an arena that has already proven itself to be profitable & then invested in it. All entrepreneurs are businessmen, but not all businessmen are entrepreneurs.

A person cannot fully grasp the essence of the meaning of entrepreneur if they or they is not willing to bite off over they can chew, & if your jaw gets worn out, surround yourself with a number of the best chewers you know. Lots of multi billionaires that deserve to be called entrepreneurs credit the people around them for much of their success. They are courageous in taking risks, & they are even braver in admitting their weaknesses.

 area where entrepreneurs are strong is finding opportunities. While most people would shy away at the proverbial opportunity knocking on their door, entrepreneurs take the door down & carryover it around wherever they go. Business opportunities are all over the place, & you need to have a creative & perceptive mind to see these potential gold mines.

So what then is the true meaning of entrepreneur? It is all of these & more. You cannot capture the spirit of being an entrepreneur in a single sentence, it is about the tales of the people around you, its knowing what they have gone through, the mistakes they have made & the adjustments they have completed to correct those mistakes. Be courageous & assured when organizing, smart & trustful when managing, & think in yourself when taking the risks & you will know the true meaning of entrepreneur.
